How To Attach A File

In Yahoo

Attaching a picture or other type of file to a Yahoo e-mail is really quite simple. However, if you're new to Yahoo, it can sometimes be confusing. So, we offer a step-by-step procedure for you!

1) First, create an e-mail just as you always do.

2) Next, click on the menu item called ATTACH - the one with the paperclip as an icon.  (Circled in red in this picture.)

3) A new window appears. Make sure you are in the correct folder on your computer to find the file or picture you want to attach. (Notice the arrow in the photo below.)

4) Now, click on the photo or document you want to send and then click OPEN.

5) You will now be taken back to your Yahoo email.  Notice that the email now shows the name of the file which is attached and the size (in our example the size is 9kb).  You should keep attachments smaller than 1MB (1000kb).  If you have a picture or file larger than 1MB, you should use Pando

You will also notice that there is a "REMOVE" link in case you've attached the wrong file or you change your mind about sending it.

6) Press SEND and your email - with attachment - should be on its way!

That's all there is to it!
